Friday, February 9, 2007 my birth was registered in Meta, Piano di Sorrento, Italy making me a dual citizen of the United States and Italy. I did not find this out until Thursday, February 15, 2007. By March 15 I had received my Italian passport, made arrangements to sell our house, booked passage on the Queen Mary 2 for Ben and me and our dog and was actively looking for a house to rent. By June the rental house was arranged and all the other details were falling in place. In early September we moved. This is our story since then
